1 Knitting Needle
This is the indispensable unit in all knitting machines. Two types are used, (1) the bearded needle which requires an auxiliary device for closing the beard prior to casting off the old loop, and (2) the latch needle which has a small latch pivoted on a tiny pin for closing the hook. -
